How it works
The organiser opens the week. Players confirm and pay. The app picks the teams. Nobody keeps a spreadsheet.

A player enters the code, sees the fee, and transfers it to their own account number in the app. Their spot is confirmed the moment it lands.
Once payment closes, the app allocates everyone who paid into balanced teams — and shows the working, so nobody argues about it.
Fair team selection
Before allocation runs, PitchFives publishes a sealed commitment. After the teams are announced, it publishes the key. Any player can verify the result was fixed before the names were known — the same technique used to prove a shuffle was not tampered with after the fact.
This exists for one reason: to end the weekly argument about whether the organiser stacked one side.
Match fees cover pitch hire and the cost of running the session. They are collected on behalf of the group and paid to the group's own bank account, less the PitchFives service fee.
Pricing
Groups set their own match fee — most Lagos 5-a-side sessions land between ₦3,000 and ₦7,000 per player, depending on the pitch.
